Clement Adamba is a Policy Economist and holds a Ph.D. and MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Ghana and Bachelor of Education degree in Social Studies and Economics from the University of Education, Winneba. Clement’s research interest generally spans evaluation of education and health policies, poverty, and social protection, with particular expertise in the study of the socio-economic dimensions of education and health policies on households and children. He has great experience in the design and implementation of large surveys and use survey data for policy analysis. Clement has consulted for the Ministry of Education, Ghana Education Service, National Development Planning Commission, and also for a number of international development partners in Ghana including UNICEF, UNESCO, World Bank, GIZ, among others. Clement has collaborated with researchers in a number of universities outside Ghana including University of North Carolina, Michigan State University, University of Michigan, Institute for Money, Technology and Financial Inclusion (IMTFI) at the University of California, New York University Centre for Technology and Economic Development (NYU CTED) all of the USA, University of Amsterdam, Netherlands, Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, Germany, and many other independent research institutions such as the America Institute for Research, SCL Social, UK, International Cocoa Institute, and many others.
