Ghana Reinsurance Company Limited (Ghana Re.) has presented a cheque of GH₵ 22,500.00 to the Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO) of the University of Ghana. The presentation was made as part of the Company’s annual corporate social responsibility drive.
Receiving the cheque, Prof. Francis Nunoo, the Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Ghana, expressed the University’s appreciation to Ghana Reinsurance Company Ltd for the kind gesture. He noted that the Company has since 2007 been supporting the University of Ghana under the Students Financial Aid scheme. He underscored the importance of the partnership between the University and Ghana Reinsurance and added that the money will go a long way to help brilliant but needy students to access quality education and contribute to society’s development
