The University of Ghana announces for the information of the general public that applications are still open for the admission of prospective applicants into various undergraduate programmes through Distance Education at the various regional Learning Centres of the University for the 2014/2015 academic year.

The Distance Education Programme is run by the School of Continuing and Distance Education, of the College of Education, University of Ghana, Legon at its Learning Centres in the 10 regional capitals.

Students will have a combination of E-learning and face to face interactive sessions and take their end of semester examinations at their designated Learning Centres.  Entry to programmes at the Learning Centres will be at both Levels 100 and 200.

Applicants should take note of the following:

• The deadline for application is FRIDAY, JANUARY 16, 2015
•  All prospective applicants are advised to visit the University’s website  (www.ug.edu.gh) and carefully read all relevant information and guidelines for prospective applicants before applying.
•  May/June and Nov/Dec 2014 WASSCE candidates are eligible to apply.
• All applicants are required to select a University of Ghana Learning Centre where they wish to undertake their programme.
