DANC 618 (CHOREOGRAPHY/PERFORMANCE (MFA)) : Dance Theatre

This course focuses on advanced methods, procedures, philosophy and materials required in
Dance Theatre as a form. It aims at equipping students with the skills required for applying
the appropriate tools and materials in creating and transforming dance from a movement
system to theatrical production. The emphasis will be on theatrical processes and principles
relevant to dance production such as scripting/documentation, theatre ethics, creativity,
innovation and choreographic conventions.
