Congratulatory message to Graduating Students - March 2023 Congregation

UG Graduate Jubilation

WELCOME TO ALL GRADUATING STUDENTS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS

We warmly welcome all our graduating students, as well as their guests, families, and friends to the March 2023 Congregation ceremonies. During the Congregation week, the University will confer degrees on graduate students from the School of Graduate Studies and undergraduate students from all the four Colleges (Basic and Applied Sciences, Education, Health Sciences and Humanities), who completed their programmes of study during the 2021/2022 academic year.

After a number of years where Congregation ceremonies were held virtually, we are very happy to once again host graduating students and their guests in face-to-face Congregation ceremonies to give them the opportunity to celebrate this milestone in-person with their colleagues, and in the presence of friends and family. You are a very special cohort as your graduation takes place during the 75th Anniversary of the University. The theme for the anniversary celebrations is Nurturing Resilience: Adopting Technology, Embracing Humanism. Indeed, we salute all graduating students because you have, no doubt, exhibited resilience, fortitude and perseverance by working so hard through the uncertainties of the global pandemic and its associated problems, to complete your studies successfully. May this be only the beginning of your success stories.

Efforts have been made to ensure that all the activities that take place during the ceremonies are streamed live via YouTube (UniversityGhana) to afford graduands’ friends and families who cannot be here in person, to join us virtually. We, therefore, invite well-wishers and friends of the University from all over the world to join in either physically or virtually, to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our students.

With immense pride, we congratulate you, our dear graduating students, on a job well done. Your hard work and perseverance have paid off. We know you will go out into the world with confidence to impact the nation and the world at large. Be proud of your accomplishments and always be guided by the motto of this University: Integri Procedamus: Proceed with Integrity. Ensure that every action you undertake is grounded in ethically sound convictions and expressed in service to humanity and society.

We wish you every success in your next chapter, as you step out in confidence to distinguish yourselves as alumni and ambassadors of the Premier University. Remember to share your accomplishments in your next adventure with us, to enable us to celebrate and acknowledge you appropriately.

Hearty congratulations and wishing you all the best!!!

Aanyekoo!
