Analytical/Environmental Chemistry

This group has been working collaboratively with many research institutions such as Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC), CSIR, EPA and many others in carrying out research into various components of the environment. They have been looking at environmental pollutants such as Heavy Metals (Trace Elements), Poly Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs), Pesticide Residues etc in air, water, vegetables, cash crops like cocoa and beverages, medicinal plants and herbal medicines.
