Workshop on policy and diplomacy for scientists

Dr. Collins Obuah has been invited to participate in the workshop on policy and diplomacy for scientists: Introduction to responsible research practices in chemical and biochemical sciences” to be held in Trieste, Italy from 12 to 15 September 2017. Dr. Obuah's nomination was supported by the National Authority Coordinator, Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology & Innovation (MESTI). The workshop is organized by the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and The World Academy of Science (TWAS).

Dr Collins Obuah has been selected to attend the 67th Lindau Nobel Laureate meeting for 2017

Dr. Collins Obuah a lecturer at the department of chemistry has been selected to participate in the 67th Lindau Nobel Laureate meeting for 2017 in Lindau, Germany. Dr. Obuah’s selection was based on a competitive selection and nomination by the African Academy of Science to the Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate meetings. His nomination was further reviewed by the scientific panel of the Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate meetings and he is among 40 young scientists for this year’s meeting.
