BSTT 617: Databas e Management & Administration

This course covers the study of relational dtabase design, using Structured Query Language (SQL). This includes data structures, logic database design, the relational model, process of normalization and the functions of a database management system. Object oriented database design is introduced, and query languages, their implementation and comparisons with relational design are covered.
