BMEN 616: Bioinformatics

Introduction to genomics, proteomics, microarray, molecular evolution and phylogenetics, metabolomics, drug discovery, protein-protein interactions, pathway and network analysis, biomedical text and data mining. Students will be taught how to use computational and statistical methods for the modeling and analysis of all kinds of biological data, as well as other areas of computational biology.
