BEOH 618 - FIRE PREVENTION AND PROTECTION

This course will focus on the general mechanisms of fire hazards and the principles of preventing and controlling fires to either eliminate or mitigate its effects. It would also cover regulatory issues, applied science and engineering, cost analysis and budgeting, benchmarking, performance criteria and best practices in fire containment.
