Courses Taught at University of Ghana.

Victoria has effectively co-taught level 100 classes for two years, with a minimum class size of 600 and a maximum of 970 students. In addition, she has co-taught level 200,300, and 400 classes. The courses she has taught include: Approaches to the study of the past(ARCH 111) , Archaeology and the African Cultural Heritage (ARCH 112), Early Civilisations of Africa (ARCH 214),Foragers and Farmers in West Africas Pre-history (ARCH 325), and Archaeology and the African Diaspora (ARCH 429).
She has worked in the capacity of an Assistant researcher on the following projects: Accra Metropolitan Area Intelligent Traffic Management& Roads Completion Project; Cultural Impact assessment survey August-September 2020, Shai Hills Resource Reserve Field school January 2020, Abonse (Eastern Region) Slave Market site Field school January 2018 . As a Research assistant, she has been a part of the following projects: Yikpabongo (Northern Ghana), Koma Archaeological Research site field school January, 2016, Asakai forest Western Region Cultural Impact Assessment Survey project August 2013, and Techiman, Kranka Dada Archaeological Research Site July, 2012.

Research Interests

Her research interests’ fall largely within historical and prehistorical archaeological content and data management. This dovetails into public archaeology and sustainable heritage management.

• Adaptive reuse of built heritage; Fort Augustaborg Teshie.
• Archaeology as a brand; Media and archaeological data.
