Pro-Vice Chancellor ASA Visits Accra City Campus

The Pro-Vice-Chancellor [ASA], Professor Kwame Offei visited the UG Accra City Campus (ACC) on Friday 28th September 2018, accompanied by Prof. Dan Ofori, Ag. Director, Academic Quality Assurance Unit, and Mrs. Christy Badu, Ag. Director, Academic Affairs Directorate.

The purpose of the visit was to interact with the management of the Accra City Campus and to assess the state of the teaching and learning environment at the ACC. The team was received by the Principal, Professor Emmanuel Morgan Attua and his senior administrative officers.

In his welcome remarks Prof. Attua expressed his pleasure at the Pro VC’s presence and noted that in spite of a number of challenges the ACC is poised to deliver on its mandate of serving as a viable city option for UG students to pursue their academic dreams. For his part, Professor Kwame Offei said he was equally pleased to have the opportunity to confer with Prof. Attua at the ACC since his appointment as Principal.

The Pro-VC and his team, after the meeting, toured the campus, visiting lecture halls, the library complex, the ICT facilities and the constructional works-in-progress [office complex and lecture halls].
