1.      Carnegie Supported PhD Candidates:

All Carnegie supported PhD candidates are encouraged to enrol in the Schools.   Candidates may apply part of their Carnegie funding to cover the course fees.

2.      Other UG Registered PhD Candidates:

Other PhD candidates registered at the University of Ghana may apply for partial support from the UG-APT Project.

The University of Ghana (UG) is once again pleased to announce the fifth and sixth in the series of Doctoral Schools run by the UG-Pan African Doctoral Academy (UG-PADA) under the Accelerated PhD Training through UG-Diasporan Linkages Project (APT-Ghana Project), which is funded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York.

The Schools are open to PhD candidates from the UG as well as other Ghanaian and African Universities. Cost per Module is as follows: PhD candidates enrolled at UG - GH₵ 600.00 (US$150.00) All other PhD candidates - GH₵ 1,200.00 (US$300.00) Modules Available: The Modules will be run in weekly schools from June 13, 2016 to June 24, 2016.

Applicants must note that the UG-PADA can for now only roll out 3 Modules per school and will therefore only roll out modules highly subscribed. Below kindly find the available modules and eligibility for enrolment. Interested candidates are advised to apply early as space is limited and will be offered strictly on a first-come-first served basis.
