2 Day Conference on the appropriateness of the multiparty system of democracy for Africa

Starting August 8, 2016 - Ending August 8, 2017

The Department of Philosophy and Classics invites you to a two day conference.

The conference is being organised under the auspices of the International Society for African Philosophy and Studies (ISAPS) on the theme 'Democracy, Justice and Development in Africa: 50 Years after Independence' which draws scholars on Africa from around the world, and in which the Former President, H. E. John Agyekum Kufuor, will be deliveriing a keynote interview session at 9 am on 11th August.

The conference will also feature a special ACLS AHP workshop on the second day (12th August) for those interested in learning how to apply and win the fellowships.
