Static Particles: Coplanar force on a particle, resultant of forces, resolution of forces, conditions for the equilibrium of a particle, Newton’s first law, free-body diagram, forces in space. Force System Resultants. Statics of a rigid body and conditions for equilibrium. Centroids and centers of gravity.
