Professor Lydia Aziato is the Dean, School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Ghana. She has been a nurse for over 20 years. She had her first degree in nursing and psychology in 2001 and in 2006, she graduated with an MPhil in Nursing from the University of Ghana. She also has a specialty certificate in Oncology Nursing from the cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton, Canada and completed in 2006. Subsequently she graduated with a PhD in Nursing from the University of the Western Cape, South Africa in 2013. Read more

Dr (Mrs) Cecilia Eliason is a Lecturer at the Department of Adult Health, School of Nursing and Midwifery, College of Health Sciences, University of Ghana. Cecilia graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with psychology and a State Registered Nurse certificate from the Department of Nursing, University of Ghana. She holds a Master of Philosophy in Nursing from the School of Nursing and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Health from the School of Public Health, College of Health Sciences University of Ghana.

Mr. David Tenkorang-Twum had his State Registered nursing education at Koforidua Nurses and Midwifery Training College between 1998-2001. Between 2001 and 2004 he worked in Koforidua Regional Hospital Theatre as a staff nurse. He proceeded to Komfo Anokye Nurse Anaesthesia Training College in 2005 and trained as Certified Registered Anaesthethist.

Mr. Eric Tornu is an assistant Lecturer in the Adult Health Department, University of Ghana School of Nursing and Midwifery, Accra – Ghana. He is a licenced nurse with a Master of Philosophy in Nursing degree from the University of Ghana, Legon awarded in July, 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (First Class Honours) from the Central University, Ghana (July, 2014) and a Diploma in Registered General Nursing (First Class Honours) from the Korle-Bu Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Accra-Ghana (October, 2009).

Dr. Gladys Dzansi is at the Department of Adult Health, School of Nursing, University of Ghana. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of the Western Cape, Cape Town South Africa awarded in 2017. She obtained a Master of Philosophy in Nursing (2007) and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Nursing with Psychology (2002) all from the University of Ghana. She qualified as a State Registered Nurse (SRN) in 1997. The Polyvalent nature of her training makes her versatile and able to work within any unit within the health care setting

Mrs. Gloria Achempim- Ansong is a product of St. Louis Secondary School, Nurses’ Training College, Koforidua and University of Ghana. She is Registered Nurse of over twenty years of experience, holds BA nursing with psychology and M.Phil. Nursing and currently a PhD Candidate at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. Has worked at the Regional Hospital, Koforidua and the Mamprobi Polyclinic.

Dr. Gwendolyn Mensah is a lecturer at the department of Adult Health, School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Ghana, Legon. In April 2017, she graduated with a PhD in Nursing from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU), now Nelson Mandela University (NMU), Port Elizabeth, South Africa. She was trained as a State Registered Nurse (SRN) and a Registered Midwife (RM) in 1992 and 1996 respectively. She has been a nurse/midwife for 26 years and a Deputy Director for Nursing Services (DDNS). She had her BA in Nursing with Psychology in 2007 and MPhil in Nursing in 2012 from the School of Nursing, University of Ghana, Legon.

Dr. Kwadwo Ameyaw Korsah is a nurse by profession. He is a lecturer in the Department of Adult Health, School of Nursing and Midwifery, College of Health Sciences, University of Ghana. Dr. Korsah’s research is encapsulated under Chronicity of Diseases, including Diabetes Care and Coping as well as cultural diversity and sensitivity in nursing care. His highest academic qualification is a PhD in Nursing.
