Resit Registration

Continuing/students who should have completed and wish to re-register for a failed course should do the following:

Registration Steps

Continuing Students

  1. Download the appropriate Re-sit Registration form, print it out and complete it.
  2. Register at the relevant Department(s)
  3. Pay at the Cash Office.
  4. Register on-line via   http://www.ug.edu.gh/resit after 48 hours after payment of appropriate fees.

Students who should have completed

  • Download the appropriate Re-sit Registration form (see below).
  • Register at the relevant Department/s.
  • Present the form to the registration officials in the Students Services Centre at the Information Centre, near the Main Gate for them to calculate the amount to be paid.
  • Pay at the Cash Office.
  • Take your receipt and a copy of the registration form to Registration Officials in the Students Services Centre to complete the registration process.
  • You are also required to obtain a Provisional ID for the Examinations at the Students Services Centre, one week before the start of examinations.

Resit Registration Fees

The Fee for a repeat examination is a separate charge from the regular University registration fee, and must be paid by every student who is to write a repeat examination paper.
All payments must be made to the Cash Office, University of Ghana.
